The Sports Blog Nation is governed by a set of five (5) guidelines.
1. This site will be run as simply as possible. There will be very few rules. In fact, there are only three (3). They are as follows:
a. No offensive language or profanity;
b. No pornographic or offensive images anywhere on the site, including personal blogs;
c. No personal attacks on other bloggers. (Good spirited debate is encouraged. Name calling is prohibited.)
That’s it – nothing more, nothing less. However, a violation of any one of these rules subjects the offending party to possible dismissal from this site.
2. This is not now, nor will it ever be, a commercial site. It is not designed to turn a profit. Its sole purpose is to provide its members with a free place to blog. I am not obsessed with how many hits this site gets or where they come from.
3. This site is open to everyone. Anyone can blog here so long as they follow the 3 simple rules.
4. No one has to “pledge allegiance” to this site. If you want to post something here and on another site, you are welcomed to do so. What you write is your intellectual property and you have the right to disseminate it as you see fit.
5. This site is not affiliated with any other organization or web site. It is completely independent and stands alone.
If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, please speak-up. They will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading and happy blogging!
