I want to get this out there. As we know, Sharp Tusk Razorback runs hogdb, which is a considerable site (and maybe the most complete site for Razorback football anywhere).
Well, Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports wrote an article a couple of days ago headlining that
"Petrino will not be visiting #1 Recruit Thursday"
This centers around the possibly #1 recruit in the entire country, 6-6, 225 lb, Dorial Green-Beckham, a WR in...... Springfield, MO.
He has narrowed his list down to....... Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, and Oklahoma.
Besides being a WR who looks NFL ready from his physique, he is also the state 100M and Triple Jump champ, and led his HS to the state BK championship.
Sharp has done another excellent counter piece to this and makes a good case that the NCAA should actually investigate University of Missouri for a recruiting violation b/c of this piece.
Once again, Sharp makes his case. UNMENTIONED IN DODD'S ARTICLE IS THAT HE GOT HIS JOURNALISM DEGREE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI.
