4. Stanford beats Notre Dame

5. Oregon beats Oregon St.

6. USC beats UCLA

7. UCLA beats Oregon

8. Georgia beats LSU

9. Houston wins C-USA

10. Louisville wins the Big East

Under this scenario, I still think LSU finishes in the Top 2.

BCS Game: Alabama v LSU

Sugar Bowl: Georgia (11-2) v ????

Rose Bowl: UCLA (7-6) v who cares (I hope for Wisconsin)

Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma (10-2) v ????

Orange Bowl: Clemson or Virginia v ????

Auto-qualifiers: Houston (13-0, C-USA Champ), Louisville (7-5, Big East Champ).

Ah, but Stanford would likely finish in the Top 4 at 11-1 and would get an AQ berth.

Notice that there are only 3 ???? marks. We now have 3 AQ's. So a second Big Ten or Big XII school or Oregon would get shut out.

I re-read the selection procedures for the BCS and the two conference rule only comes into play for at-large berths. We would have THREE AQ's in the SEC.

Got to love it. The BCS bowls would not be able to select teams, just who they wanted from a mandatory list of teams.

Also, there is a very high probablility that TCU normally would be an AQ under the scenario- save for Houston and that Boise St could finish in the Top 6 and get shut out!
